Education
2002 - 2005 PhD in evolutionary fisheries ecology from Department of Biology, University of Bergen, Norway. Thesis title: Fisheries-induced life history evolution in cod. Supervisor: Øyvind Fiksen.
2000 - 2001 Cand. scient. (similar to Masters Degree) in ecophysiology from Department of Zoology, University of Bergen, Norway. Thesis title: Diving development in nursing harbour seal pups. Supervisors: Kit M. Kovacs and Christian Lydersen at the Norwegian Polar Institute, Tromsø, and Ole Brix at Department of Zoology, University of Bergen.
1995 - 2000 Undergraduate studies in Biology (physiology, ecology, anatomy, molecular biology), philosophy, mathematics, and chemistry at the University of Bergen, Norway.
